Each outing includes a pre-walk equipment check, weather assessment, and post-session stretching routine led by experienced recreation staff from Drillingsafe.

Coastal Trail Running

Build endurance on mixed-surface paths linking forest clearings to shoreline viewpoints. Programs alternate between technique workshops and timed segments to help runners develop confidence on natural trails.

Groups are capped at eight participants to maintain coach visibility and ensure responsive support across changing trail conditions throughout the session.

Park Fitness Circuits

High-energy outdoor workouts combining bodyweight drills, agility stations, and partner exercises in Laksevåg green spaces. Sessions rotate weekly to keep training fresh and progressively challenging.

All equipment is provided on site. Participants need only comfortable athletic wear and a reusable water bottle to join any scheduled circuit at drillingsafe.ddd.

Pre-Session Briefing

Route overview, weather update, equipment verification, and group introductions before departure from the meeting point.

Guided Activity Block

Core movement period with coached technique tips, rest intervals, and optional skill challenges tailored to group ability.

Recovery and Review

Cool-down stretches, hydration pause, and a brief recap of skills practiced with recommendations for independent practice.

Seasonal Schedule

Drillingsafe adapts trail offerings to Norway changing seasons while maintaining year-round outdoor access.

Spring and Summer Focus

Extended daylight hours enable longer ridge hikes, dawn running groups, and twilight fitness circuits in local parks. Water stations and sun protection guidance are standard across all warm-weather sessions.

Autumn and Winter Focus

Shorter routes with enhanced traction awareness, layered clothing workshops, and indoor-outdoor hybrid circuits keep participants active through colder months.

Skill Progression Pathways

Move from introductory outings to advanced trail challenges with clear milestones at each level.

Foundation Level

Flat to moderate terrain, 5 to 8 km distances, emphasis on basic navigation and group communication skills.

Intermediate Level

Variable elevation, 10 to 15 km routes, introduction to interval training and independent route-following confidence.

Advanced Level

Technical terrain, 18 km plus distances, self-sufficiency preparation and multi-day expedition readiness coaching.
